On Friday, July 19, I am planning a group trip to the Ocoee Whitewater Center, which was the site of the 1996 Olympic kayaking event.
The beautiful Cherokee National Forest visitors center is located in the Ocoee River gorge and has numerous walking paths by the river and mountain hiking and biking trails. www.fs.usda.gov/cherokee
