HFA Scholarship

The deadline for applying is March 31. You must be sponsored by a member of The Higdon Family Association, Inc.

The Higdon Family Association, Inc. established a scholarship fund to help descendents of the Higdon family to undertake additional studies.

At a minimum, to be eligible for the HFA Scholarship you must:

  1. Be a descendent of the Higdon family.
  2. Be either a senior in high school, a high school graduate, or a mature student (re-entry/continued education/masters)
  3. Demonstrate high moral character, good citizenship, and the determination to develop your talent.

Applying for a Scholarship from the HFA

The instructions for applying and the application forms are in the following files that you may save or download to your computer. (Note: An easy way to download is to RIGHT CLICK each file name. Then choose Save Target As from Internet Explorer or if you use Netscape, choose Save Link Target As.)

  Note direct all questions about the scholarship application process to William R. "Bill" Higdon, Scholarship Committee Chairperson.
