115th Maj. William Huffman Higdon Reunion

The 115th Maj. William Huffman Higdon Reunion was held on September 12, 2010 which is also Grandparent's Day. A covered dish lunch was be served between 12:30 and 1:00 at The Higdonville Church fellowship hall in Franklin, NC. Attendees brought some family history and pictures. A wonderful time of visiting and catching up on what had happened in the past year.
Travis Higdon,as the President, welcomed everyone this year. The oldest, youngest, and farthest attendees were acknowledged, as seen below. About forty five attended, a smaller crowd than usual showed up this year. One person came from as far away as Washington DC and a couple from Alabama

The youngest was 10 mounth old twin girls Alexia and Alisa. Daugthers of Denver and Alicia Williams Higdon.

The person that traveled the farthest to be at the reunion
was Melanie Ingram from Washington DC. She is the daughter
of Herb and Mary Ellen Higdon Ingram.
