The descendants of William Huffman Higdon gathered in North Carolina on September 14, 2003 for their 108th annual reunion. The aromas of the food filled the fellowship hall at the Higdonville Baptist Church in Macon County. No one was shy about dipping up a big plate of fried chicken and all the fixings. Youngest	Oldest
At two weeks of age, Dillon R. Higdon was the youngest descendant present. Photo Courtesy of Denton Higdon	Grayson Higdon at age 86 was the oldest descendant present. Uncle Grayson is the 17th of 18 children of Thomas Bragg Higdon. Grayson is the only one surviving of all these children. His mother was Lula Shepherd Higdon, the third wife of Thomas Bragg Higdon.
