| A Texas Treat! | |

The Higdon Family Association meeting in Fredericksburg, Texas, was a treat for all who attended. Secretary Joyce Higdon prepared homemade candies, cookies, and spiced pecans for the hospitality room. The chocolate chip cookies kept many of us lingering near the snack table, and everyone had seconds, thirds, and possibly fourths, of the spiced pecans. The hospitality room, open from Thursday afternoon through Saturday evening, proved to be a popular gathering spot. No doubt that Joyce's seemingly inexhaustible supply of irresistible goodies was a contributing factor. |
